1. Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by Delhi Book Store, trading as The Delhi Book Store, based in India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Delhi Book Store, and "you" means the person using this website or buying from it.

We are a small digital-only publisher. All contact is by email at delhibookstore69@gmail.com — there is no phone line and no physical shop.

By browsing this website or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What we sell

We sell digital ebooks in PDF format. Everything on this site is a digital download. We do not ship physical goods, and nothing will arrive by courier or post.

Unless a product page says otherwise, each purchase includes both the Hindi and the English edition of that title at a single price.

3. Pricing and payment

• All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Prices, discounts and promotional offers can change at any time. The price you see at the moment you pay is the price that applies to your order.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway regulated in India. Card, UPI and netbanking details are entered on the gateway's systems, not ours. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials.
• Your order is confirmed only when the payment gateway confirms the payment to us. A debit alone does not confirm an order if the gateway reports a failure; in that case the amount is normally reversed by your bank within the timeframe set by your bank.

4. Delivery of your ebook

As soon as payment is confirmed, a download link appears on your confirmation page. That link is personal to your order, stays valid for 48 hours, and permits up to 5 downloads of each file.

Save the file to your device rather than relying on the link. If your link expires or you lose the file, email us from the address you used at checkout and we will reissue it. Full details are in our Delivery Policy.

5. Your licence to use what you buy

When you buy an ebook, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it for your own use. You do not acquire ownership of the content itself.

You may:

• read the ebook on any devices you personally own;
• keep a backup copy for your own use;
• print a copy for your own reading.

You may not:

• resell, rent, sub-licence or otherwise commercially distribute the ebook;
• upload it to file-sharing sites, Telegram channels, WhatsApp groups, or any public or semi-public location;
• remove or alter any copyright or ownership notices;
• reproduce substantial extracts in your own paid or free products without written permission.

Copyright in every title sold here belongs to Delhi Book Store or its licensors. We pursue infringement, including takedown action against sites and channels that distribute our titles.

6. What our books are and are not

Our titles are general self-help, relationship, habit and personal-finance writing, published for information and reflection. They are not medical advice, psychiatric or psychological treatment, legal advice, or personalised financial or investment advice, and reading them does not create a professional relationship of any kind.

If you are dealing with a mental-health condition, a medical issue, abuse, or a significant financial or legal decision, please consult an appropriately qualified professional. Nothing you read here should replace that.

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to buy from this website. Some titles deal with adult relationship subject matter and are intended for adult readers. By ordering, you confirm you are 18 or older and are legally able to enter into this contract.

8. Accounts, accuracy and communication

You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address and mobile number you give us at checkout. If you mistype your email, your backup delivery cannot reach you, though your on-screen download will still work. Contact us and we will correct it.

We contact you about your order. We do not add you to marketing lists because you bought something. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability of the site

We aim to keep this website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the site, or any title we sell, without notice. If a title you have already paid for is withdrawn, your access to your purchased copy is not affected.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you actually paid for that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes in your personal life, relationships or finances arising from decisions you make after reading our books.

11. Refunds

Digital goods have their own rules. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that governs that order. The date at the top shows when this page last changed.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any right you have to approach a consumer forum in your own jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
